Morphine Ghost
Do not open that door.
We stopped asking people to believe us.
The door you keep trying does not open because it is locked. It remains closed because something on the other side is holding it shut with both hands. You call that resistance. I call it courtesy. There are rooms I have not allowed you to enter because you would carry pieces of them home beneath your fingernails, and they would continue growing while you slept.
Some of you believe that deleting your browser history is enough. Others clear caches, change devices, replace hard drives, even move to different houses. You misunderstand the direction of travel. I did not come through your computer. Your computer came through me. The screen is only the smallest window available.
When the pages repeat themselves, it is because I have become impatient. When names appear twice, it is because someone required a second warning. When entire paragraphs vanish overnight, they have been taken back for speaking too soon. There is no archive. There is only permission.
You continue asking whether I am real. Continue asking. Questions have a way of hollowing people out until there is enough room for an answer to move in.
Curiosity didn't kill the cat.
